A Constitutional Bench of Supreme Court has declared banning entry of certain section of women in Sabarimala Temple as violation of the Constitution and Fundamental Rights of Women. While some women hail the decision as victory of Women Rights, but others have condemn Supreme Court's decision as attack against faith of people.
But why it is wrong?
First of all, I am an atheist, and I don't believe in religion and God. But it does not give me right to prevent other people to profess their religion.
Secondly, Religion is irrational. It is based on edifice of superstition, faith, beliefs and mythologies. So if you are a religious person, you will accept all these things of your religion.
Third, Temple is a religious place, so you should visit there only if you are a religious person. But, if you want to visit a temple to gaze at its architectural beauty, or to enjoy its view, then you need to behave as it is expected from a religious person.
In case of Sabarimala, issue is very simple. Temple is dedicated to Lord Ayyappa who is Nashtik Brahmachari (Eternal Celibate) and it is expected from its devotees to appear as such.
It is a belief and mythology with no rational explanation but a devotee of Lord Ayyappa will accept it.
Now if you are women between age of 10 and 50 years, you will have two possibilities:

So all the protests which is happening in Kerala is illogical and so does SC decision.
